The production of monoclonal antibodies can be performed either by the scale-up of hybridomas or via cloning and expression using recombinant techniques. If a recombinant method is chosen, we may suggest isotype switching of the antibody or generate a human-mouse chimeric molecule should a human Fc domain be required for further efficacy evaluations.
