Responsibilities –

·         Ensure efficient delivery of compounds through scientific guidance to team:

o    Provide scientific guidance to team members and troubleshoot for efficient delivery of projects

o    Identify, evaluate and design synthetic route and reaction parameters

o    Guide the team on process optimization & development and yield improvement resulting in cost effective solutions and execution

o    Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to quality standards/ timelines

o    Guide the team on the usage of advanced analytical techniques

o    Make weekly and final project reports

o    Examine and sign lab note books and data cards of the team

·         Build client relationship by delivering a superior client experience :

o    Understand client requirements and regularly communicate with the client to manage expectations

o    Provide periodic project updates on productivity and quality to the client

o    Take appropriate action on client’s feedback

·         Ensure safety at work through enforcement of good laboratory practices:

o    Ensure compliance and train the team members for safety protocols

o    Identify and mitigate potential safety risks

o    Guide and train team on usage of equipment/apparatus/instruments as per SOPs and general housekeeping norms

·         Maintain records, data integrity and IP confidentiality:

o    Train team on LNB documentation, Data and IP Confidentiality as per norms

o    Ensure accuracy of LNB records updated by team and audit based on client requirement

o    Implement data confidentiality through adequate controls

·         Ensure high morale and skill development of self and team:

o    Train & develop team members through knowledge sharing sessions and nominate for training programs

o    Regularly review performance of the team

o    Assess readiness of employees for project allocation

o    Recognize best performers through various reward & recognition programs
