Responsibilities
Work will include exposure to many aspects of the drug development process including analytics for cell line development, process development/qualification, formulation studies, protein characterization, and phase-appropriate release/stability testing.
Experience in analytics for protein concentration, purity, and activity is desired.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in learning new techniques, flexibility and desire to work in a cutting-edge and fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to drive strategies and problem solve for biochemical and biophysical characterization of a diverse range of proteins from many different customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication, and the ability to work well as a member of a team is required

Required Educational Qualification & Relevant experience
A Ph.D in Biology or Biochemistry and at least 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in a professional environment or a Masters Degree with 5-10 years of post-graduate experience in Biotech or Pharma industry.
Experience with development and execution of several assay formats applied to protein analytics such as ELISAs/Immunoassay-based assays for potency or binding, Octet or Biacore kinetics assays, HPLC- or UPLC-based methods for purity and glycans, cIEF, Western blots, SDS-PAGE, cell-based potency assay experience is highly desirable.
Experience working in a regulated environment, GLP or GMP, is desirable
