Responsibilities
  • Engage and grow client base:
    • Strengthen client relations through effective communication
    • Anticipate and proactively address client issues
    • Responsible for collaboration growth and retention
    • Ensure increased customer satisfaction scores
  • Efficiently manage operations:
    • Understand client requirements through identification of project scope and ensure project planning & deliverables
    • Identify and mitigate project risks. Review projects periodically with project managers against project plan and timelines as per client requirements
    • Identification of advanced technologies and their usage for enhancing efficiency
    • Ensure ecosystem for team in terms of infrastructure, lab equipment/ instruments etc.
    • Collaborate and influence internal stakeholders/other departments (e.g. Analytical, Project Management, HR, IT, Admin, Maintenance etc.) to provide required resources/ services
    • Responsible for driving data integrity, IP confidentiality and safety protocols in the collaborations
  • Ensure profitability:
    • Improve profitability through efficient management of all allocated resources
    • Identify new services/ business lines from existing customers for growth
    • Control cost through alternative methods/ innovation and process optimization
    • Ensure timely revenue recognition
  • Provide support to sales/ pre-sales team:
    • Provide sales team with scientific capabilities and infrastructure related details for business growth
    • Validate the project viability, provide go–no–go decision and ensure necessary inputs are provided to proposal/ S&M team
    • Facilitate and support sales team in deal closures/ business development activities
  • Ensure high morale and skill development of team:
    • Participate in recruitment process
    • Motivate, recognize and retain best talent through various reward & recognition programs
    • Train and develop team members through Learning & Development programs
    • Enhance team performance through periodic reviews and corrective measures
    • Career management discussions with team members
    • Mentor team members
    • Improve employee satisfaction scores

Academic qualifications and experience required for the role

Required Educational Qualification & Relevant experiencePh.D./ PDF (Organic/ Medicinal Chemistry) with 10 - 14 years of relevant experienceAdditional Requirements Candidates with their research publications in leading journals would be preferred
